About Tracey
Hi there!
Tracey’s professional background is in Social Work, with over 35 years of experience working in health and community settings. Alongside this extensive professional experience, she brings a gentle, compassionate presence that deeply informs her work in sound healing in Australia.
Personal health challenges prompted Tracey to look beyond conventional approaches in search of deeper healing. This journey led her to discover the profound therapeutic power of sound, particularly the healing potential of the human voice.
Tracey has completed two Diplomas in Sound Healing, specialising in both group work and one-to-one sessions. She now facilitates regular sound baths and works as a Sound Healing Practitioner within a local wellness practice, contributing to the growing field of sound healing in Australia.
Sound Healing Training in Blue Mountains
From 2016, Tracey assisted with The Sound Healing Academy training and tutoring in the Blue Mountains, supporting students through experiential learning and personal exploration.
She later became an associate teacher at The Academy and continues to share her passion through professional sound healing training in Australia, creating safe, nurturing environments where students can experience the transformative benefits of sound.
Her teaching style is heart-centred, inclusive, and deeply supportive within accredited sound healing courses in Australia.
What makes Tracey’s heart sing?
Tracey is deeply inspired by the power of sound to heal and transform - to relax the nervous system, harmonise and balance the body, and restore wellbeing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.
These benefits are at the heart of her work in sound healing in Australia, both with individuals and groups. Tracey is especially passionate about sharing sound healing with children and young people.
As a mother of two boys with autism, she brings lived experience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of children with additional challenges, as well as the profound benefits that sound can bring to their lives. Combining my counselling background and experience with the special needs of neurodivergent groups, she also brings a trauma-aware approach to her work.
Additional skills
Tracey has been attuned to several energy healing modalities, including Reiki and Reiki-Seichem, allowing her to develop a unique blend of sound and energy healing that incorporates powerful toning and light language.
She has also completed training in Touch for Health (Kinesiology) and holds a Diploma in Forensic Healing, a modality that uses skilled muscle testing to access the body’s innate wisdom and identify the underlying causes of emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual dis-ease.
Bringing a metaphysical framework to her work, Tracey weaves together sound, energy healing, and embodied awareness into her signature Heart Song Healing approach.
